Councillor Carol Baker

I am currently a housewife who has resided in Lilleshall for 30 years with my husband Andrew who has been a serving member of the Parish Council since 2003. Consequently I have become interested and aware of Parish Council issues.

I believe we are fortunate to have, and are privileged to live in, an attractive village and have always been supportive and active in Village life and also helping to improve the local environment.

In the past, when my daughters were young, I was involved with the local Youth Club and later in the backstage activities of the local Pantomime Group. Until more recently I was an active member of Lilleshall Residents’ Association helping to promote the village environmentally.

Presently I work as a volunteer for Age UK which I have been doing for 10 years and I am also a volunteer member serving on the Committee of the very successful Heart of England in Bloom (Newport).

It is my intention to work hard, together with all Councillors, for the benefit of the Lilleshall Ward and the wider Parish.

Please feel free to contact me at any time through the Clerk at the Parish Offices.

I have been a Parish Councillor since May 1979 clocking up over 30 yrs. I have served as a Governor on Donnington Wood Junior School for 15 yrs, I believe it is important to have input at the local schools. Sadly I am giving up this position but I am joining The Sutherland Board of Governors. Cllr Clive Mason and I have decided to swap schools as it will give both schools fresh input and ideas.

I am also The T&W Ward Councillor for Donnington and together with Clive Mason work hard to resolve Donnington issues and bring improvements to the Ward.

I have been a Parish Councillor since around 1981 and am now one of the longest serving members on the Council. I have been married to Pat, who is also a Parish Councillor, for 42 years.

I was an active participant in the development of the Lifelong Learning Centre on St. Matthew’s Road and in the formation of The Donnington Partnership.

Recently, I retired as a Production Design Engineer enabling me to spend more time as a Governor of Donnington Wood Junior School, on duties as a Parish Councillor and being a lay reader at St Matthew’s Church.

If you would like to discuss a problem or have any ideas on improvements around the parish then please contact me through the Clerk at the Parish Office.

I am approachable at any time and I am always keen to listen to people’s views and comments on the best way forward for the community.

I have lived in Donnington since the early 90’s and have been heavily involved in boxing and Scouting.

I joined the council to see if I could help today’s youngsters in any way shape or form; I strongly believe that if we look after today’s kids then we will have a strong community tomorrow

In addition to Council I hold the following offices

President of West Midlands ABA
Auditor of West Midlands ABA
Assistant Secretary of West Midlands ABA
Member of Telford & Wrekin Sports Commission
Member of Scout fellowship

I have lived in the Donnington/Trench area most of my life, going to school at the John Hunt, and have recently moved back to Donnington. I have worked at the Princess Royal Hospital since 1989 in several roles and I now work within the Informatics Dept as a Service Desk Manager.

I’ve always had an interest in the local community and want to take this opportunity to work with my fellow councillors to maintain and improve facilities within the parish.

I first came to live in Donnington in the 1950’s. I am married and have four children and numerous grandchildren. I was first elected onto the Parish Council twenty years ago and have been privileged to be Chair on three occasions. I feel that the future is very promising for the Council, Councillor's and the Parish of Lilleshall, Donnington and Muxton where we have seen a steady increase in population.

I have been very involved within the area over the years having served as a Governor at the Sutherland School and am currently serving as a Governor at the Donnington Wood Junior School. I am also a Councillor with Telford and Wrekin Borough Council representing Donnington.

Councillor Lisa Dugmore

I was born and brought up in the local area – I attended St Lawrence School Preston, Charlton School, Wellington and New College, Wellington. I moved away with my job in the early 1990s but returned 10 years ago.
I have 3 children and work as a School Business Manager in a large Primary School in Telford. I thoroughly enjoy my job, and have always been a very active participant with my children’s schools serving as Chair of the PTA for a number of years.
This is my first time serving as a Parish Councillor, but I am looking forward enormously to the many and varied opportunities there will be for me to better understand the workings of my local community and how the key stakeholder groups can work together to make real and lasting improvements to benefit everyone.
